Job searching made easier with new iPhone app

International recruitment firm CML has launched Asia’s first iPhone application which has the candidate and their job search in mind. The app allows job seekers to track applications forwarded by consultants at CML and keep an eye on progress their CV is making.

The app has busy lawyers in mind too, and includes links to Google Maps for finding directions to an interview, recorded podcasts with useful interview tips, instant access to a CML consultant and a link to the ‘hot jobs of the week’ for those who want to continue the search straight out of the interview.
Called CML recruitment, the app is free and can be downloaded from the iTunes app store – and only registered CML candidates will be given a password.

Lack of communication with recruiters about where CVs had been sent and the status of applications was the key issue identified by CML when speaking with candidates, and Rob Green, Asia managing director for CML, said this application aims to address tha issue. “We are very proud to launch our iPhone app. We are constantly striving to look at exactly what the Lawyers we work with need when they are looking for a job,” Green added. “We wanted to release an app that really helps our candidates stay in control of their job search. Lawyers and Bankers in Asia are busy and they need tools and agencies they can actually use,” he concluded.
