Lawyers worried about losing fringe benefits can now hold on to the perks they are used even if they change firms via a new scheme from recruitment firm CML. The international recruitment firm has teamed up with a rewards company, Total Loyalty Company, offering professional privileges to candidates and newly placed lawyers. Aside from everyday lifestyle benefits and discounts that are varied, the program includes access to regular networking events.
The program is designed to reward employee loyalty. While the concept is relatively new within the Hong Kong market, CML managing director, Asia Pacific, Rob Green says that law firms should always be looking to reward loyalty. “The recruitment market in Asia is a busy place and companies should always be looking to reward loyalty,” he adds. The company also has a track record of success from Australia, where it operates a partner program, MyRewards, with over one million members.
Green also encourages lawyers to explore the range of benefits available through this type of loyalty program, as they are designed with them in mind but many don’t realise what is available. “The benefits are discounts in bars, restaurants, galleries, concert halls, spa's, hotels, gym memberships, flights and a variety of other things - new benefits are being added every week," he concludes. New benefits recently added include 70% off a holiday in Thailand booking through one particular agent, 20% off 12 bottles of wine at one of HK's leading supermarkets and a similar range.
