The key mission of our client’s legal services unit is to provide practical solutions to the everyday challenges associated with the management of a first-class learning institution.
Working with a dedicated and close-knit team, your daily routine will see you in a hands-on role, representing the organisation in high level negotiations to achieve the best possible outcomes in a huge mix of matters including intellectual property, insurance and commercial law matters.
This is a role which offers a tantalising amount of variety both in the broad range of matters that will come across your desk and the type of work you will perform, including drafting, advice work and negotiation. You may be negotiating with parties in regards to the commercialisation of intellectual property one moment, reviewing a joint venture agreement the next and finish the day preparing an advice regarding confidentiality issues.
A fundamental key to your initial and long term continued success in this role will be your proven ability to bring a commercial imperative to the table, combined with excellent black letter law skills. This allows you to provide unparalleled practical and innovative advice to your internal clients.
You will have at least 2 years PAE in commercial law with excellent drafting and contract review skills. It goes without saying that your attention to detail and your skills in juggling multiple tasks and competing priorities are exceptional.
