This market-leading UK firm with a well established and well resourced office in Shanghai is currently recruiting a mid-level internationally qualified corporate lawyer to focus on general corporate work. In this direct client facing role you will be responsible for advising international clients (including corporates, investment banks and PE houses) on M&A deals in China. You will be given a high degree of autonomy and have responsibility for drafting transaction documents (including share purchase agreements and joint venture agreements) in English and Chinese, while supervising and leading teams and carrying out negotiations on behalf of clients. You will have 4 to 7 years of PQE and have trained at a top international law firm. Qualification in the US, UK, Australia or the PRC would be an advantage.  The successful candidate will be fluent in written and spoken English and Mandarin.
