This is a superb opportunity for a lawyer to manage the legal team of a growing multinational organisation. Our client has offices throughout the world’s financial centres and is now looking for a lawyer to head up the legal function In Hong Kong.

 

You will liaise across the business and have the opportunity to take on the management of the existing legal team and grow it where necessary. Holistic knowledge of the corporate and commercial legal issues pertaining to large financial institutions will be very useful. The role will require you to give both transactional and regulatory advice as well as ensuring strong relationships for the legal team across the group.

 

You will be a lawyer with genuine leadership qualities and good commercial acumen. Experience from a highly regarded law firm or financial institution is required. It is likely you will be at least 10 PQE and Hong Kong qualified. In-house experience is not required if you can demonstrate considerable commercial acumen.
