In-House Banking - Loans Lawyer – 3-5 years pqe
Our client, a major bank, seeks to recruit a lawyer with extensive loans legal experience to advise loan businesses on legal risk management and legal support across the Asia Pacific Region.
The responsibilities of the successful candidate will include structuring transactions; reviewing and drafting documentation including termsheets, confidentiality agreements, mandate and fee letters, LMA/APLMA documentation, loan agreements, debt and security instruments. Further responsibilities include assisting with the structuring of concepts through to mandate and execution along with general legal advice.
Applicants should have at least three years years' post qualification experience at a recognised institution or a primary international or Singaporean law firm in this field. The prospective joiner will demonstrate the required technical and analytical skills suitable for the role including the use and negotiation of LMA/APLMA loan and secondary trading documentation coupled with a good knowledge of cross border lending and security issues in the Asia-Pacific region.
