Legal Analyst | NQ / Law Graduate / Paralegal | Premiere global investment firm
Rare opportunity for law graduates or newly qualified lawyers to begin their legal careers in-house!
A leading investment and advisory firm, which is renowned globally for its prominence as an investment firm, is looking for a junior lawyer, law graduate or experienced paralegal to join their legal team.
This is an exciting, newly created two-year program for ambitious law graduates and newly qualified lawyers. The Legal Analyst will join the firm’s Legal and Compliance Department and will support all of the firm’s businesses in Asia including Private Equity, Real Estate and Corporate Advisory.
Primary responsibilities will be:
- Contract review for Asia (confidentiality agreements, service provider engagement letters, leases and other corporate contracts)
- Regional corporate housekeeping tasks (co-ordinating board meetings, drafting board minutes)
- Compliance support, including assistance with regulatory filings and anti-money laundering checks
You will possess the following skill sets / experience:
- Law graduate / NQ: Law degree from a top law school and some law firm experience preferred
- Paralegals: relevant experience with extensive drafting experience
- Excellent written and spoken English required; Chinese language skills would be an asset but are not required
- Good attention to detail, eagerness to learn, people skills and great energy
