In the role you will responsible for the review and negotiation of a range of commercial contracts, including projects in China and South East Asia.  You will also provide general legal advice on various matters.

Specifically you will:

• Draft, negotiate and review a variety of contracts and commercial agreement to be carried out in Asia;
• Review tender documentations, contracts special conditions, contract letters of intent, alliance contracts and other contract documentation;
• Provide general legal advice on a range of contractual matters, with a commercial focus particularly relating to commercial law, construction, environmental, insurance and IP matters; and
• Provide assistance in minimizing the company’s risk in respect of various projects.

To be successful in the role you be a qualified lawyer with a minimum of 6 years experience.  You will have worked within non-contentious construction, environmental law and they would consider someone with an energy background.  You will be fluent in Mandarin, speaking, reading and writing.
