Traditionally based in Houston with a roster of first class energy clients this firm is now truly global and its London office retains a bias for contentious work. Because of both internal moves and strategic growth they are now looking to expand in international litigation, insurance litigation and arbitration. The firm is looking for robust, energetic and technically sound lawyers with these specialisms. As with many US firms applications from candidates from Magic and Silver Circle firms are welcomed, however the firm is also willing to consider outstanding candidates from other firms. Culturally the firm reflects its Houston (as opposed to New York) roots and hours are not generally as oppressive as some of the New York firms with a presence in London. If you are an ambitious lawyer with excellent academics and a desire to take on as much responsibility as you can handle then there is no better opportunity in the contentious market today.
