Large US asset manager seeks a mid to senior level funds lawyer for its Hong Kong office to be the primary legal contact for Hong Kong and Greater China matters, as well as for the Asia Pacific region. The role will primarily involve handling asset management assignments and will also involve general corporate/commercial work from time to time. Ideal candidates should have experience in private and retail funds gained in private practice or with an asset management company, such as experience in funds formation, maintenance, and negotiation of funds and separate accounts documents. Reading and writing Chinese skills would be an advantage but are not essential. Excellent opportunity to work closely with the business for candidates looking for autonomy and room to grow.
