Retail Banking /Consumer Lawyer (circa Five years pqe)
Renowned financial institution seeks to recruit a Retail Banking Lawyer with circa five years pqe to join its busy legal team. The successful candidate will primarily assist the financial services and banking legal team with general advisory work, being closely involved with compliance colleagues. The responsibilities will include providing legal support to the business generally, taking responsibility for legal documentation, product development and providing specific advice in response to business queries. The ideal candidate will have a good understanding of the retail / consumer banking business and its product offerings, in particular savings, banking, regulated mortgages and credit cards.
Applicants should have experience of working in the banking department of a high quality law firm whether in Singapore or internationally coupled with in-house secondment experience or alternatively is currently working within a financial services institution in a similar capacity. The candidate must also demonstrate that they are comfortable working in a highly regulated, and fast paced environment.
